More than 300 KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Department of Health internships for 2024 are now open for applications, with a closing date of 29 February 2024.
Successful applicants will be located at the Department’s head office and across the province’s district municipalities. The head office alone has 183 available opportunities.
The positions require a diverse range of qualifications, including certificates, diplomas and degrees. Fields of study also range widely from administration, public/business management, nursing, financial management, supply chain and logistics, to human resource management, among others.
KZN Department of Health internships
Affirming itself as an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, the provincial Department of Health invited unemployed KZN graduates to apply for the internships. It especially encouraged people living with disabilities to apply.
The programme runs annually, and interns will be placed for 24 months. However, the Department did not reveal remuneration or stipend details. It did not reveal whether or not it will offer the interns permanent employment once they finish their term.
How to apply
To apply, visit the internship advertisement page here and choose your preferred location (head office or metropolitan/district municipality). When you click the link, it will open a PDF page that contains further details on the available positions, number of posts and qualifications.
