Apple TV+ has ordered a new conspiracy thriller series titled Prime Target, which will star SAG Award winner Leo Woodall (The White Lotus, One Day) and Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam, In Treatment).
The eight-episode series is created by award-winning writer Steve Thompson (Sherlock, Vienna Blood) who is also the executive producer.
The producers are New Regency and Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions. Brady Hood (Top Boy, Great Expectations) is the director for all the eight, one-hour episodes and is also the executive producer.

Besides Woodall and Swindell, Prime Target‘s heavyweight cast also includes Academy Award nominee and BAFTA Award winner Stephen Rea (The Crying Game), BAFTA Award nominee David Morrissey (Sherwood, The Walking Dead) and Emmy Award winner Martha Plimpton (The Regime).
Others include BAFTA and Emmy Award winner Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen), SAG Award nominee Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), BAFTA Award nominee Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Ali Suliman (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Paradise Now), Fra Fee (Rebel Moon, Hawkeye) and Joseph Mydell (The Eternal Daughter).
Plot details
Woodall plays Edward Brooks, a brilliant young math postgraduate who is about to make a major breakthrough. Success in finding a pattern in prime numbers means he will hold the key to every computer in the world. However, a mysterious enemy stands in the way, leading Edward onto the path of Taylah Sanders (played by Swindell), an NSA agent whose task is to track his behaviour. They end up working together to unravel a troubling conspiracy.
