DreamWorks, the 24-hour channel dedicated to kids and family entertainment, will launch on DStv in South Africa and other Sub-Saharan African countries on 18 March 2022.
This is according to a statement by NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer (NBCUIN & DTC) and MultiChoice on Monday (7 March).
DreamWorks launches on DStv in South Africa
The channel will offer DStv subscribers access to popular content from one of the world’s most recognisable animation studios. It will be available on DStv channel 304 and the DStv app.
DStv viewers in South Africa will now enjoy the fantastical world of fan-favourite characters and their epic adventures, including Emmy® award-winning original television series such as All Hail King Julien, The Adventures of Puss in Boots and Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny.
Other DreamWorks series on offer include The Boss Baby: Back in Business, Dragons: Race to the Edge, Dawn of the Croods, Trolls: The Beat Goes On! The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants and more.
The channel also presents a slate of programming for two to five-year-old kids dubbed DreamWorks Junior, including the beloved Postman Pat, Dragons Rescue Riders, Raa Raa: The Noisy Lion and Noddy Toyland Detective.
MultiChoice partnership
