Amazon is currently hiring in South Africa and has advertised 151 opportunities – including work-from-home jobs – as of 4 May 2021.
The American online retail giant’s recruitment drive is ongoing since it announced last year that it was hiring 3,000 South Africans for customer service and technical expertise jobs.
Amazon already had 4,000 South African employees at the time and the new recruitments were set to increase its local workforce to 7,000.
The company is also set to anchor a new R4 billion development in Cape Town which will house its African headquarters.
Latest Amazon jobs in South Africa (May 2021)
The latest Amazon jobs include 151 full-time jobs, three seasonal jobs and four work-from-home jobs.
Of the full-time positions, 107 are based in Cape Town, 27 in Johannesburg, eight in Waterfall, and nine in the rest of South Africa.
The jobs range from general positions, such as recruitment agents and customer service associates (CSA), to technical positions such as software development engineers and data centre security managers.
