FNB Connect Black Friday deals in 2023 include a massive R7,339 discount on a PlayStation 5 (PS5) – but there will be only 185 units on sale in line with the bank’s 185th anniversary.
Customers can also look forward to various Cyber Monday specials on cellphones, tablets and gaming consoles this year, FNB announced.
“We’ve observed our customers ingeniously using their eBucks rewards to boost their finances. This Black Friday, we’re excited to take it a step further, helping them stretch their rands even more with unprecedented savings,” FNB eBucks Chief Financial Officer Bathandwa Mbovane said.
FNB Connect Black Friday deals
The FNB Connect Black Friday deals, which launched on 12 November and will be available until 4 December 2023, offer up to 67% discounts on devices such as cellphones, air fryers, smartwatches and tablets.

One-day promotion, including PlayStation 5
FNB Connect will also run a one-day promotion on 24 November 2023, which coincides with the bank’s 185th birthday. Customers can purchase devices, including a PlayStation 5, for R185 per month over 24 or 36 months. However, only 185 units will be available for each device.

Other FNB Black Friday specials will also be available to customers (including RMB Private Bank customers) between 24 November and 27 November 2023 via the eBucks shop on the app. Customers who buy an iPhone or Apple Watch on the Partner Shop app during that weekend will also get 5,000 eBucks.
FNB and RMB Private Bank customers can use their bank cards or eBucks to shop on the eBucks or Connect Shops on the app during Black Friday, the bank said.
