South Africa’s Grade 12 learners are set to sit for their National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations from 30 October to 5 December – and the final Matric 2023 exam timetable is now available to download in PDF.
Around 1.2 million learners will sit for the national exams, according to a statement by Umalusi Council on Wednesday (18 October).
“On the basis of the audit outcomes, Umalusi has declared that the system is largely ready to conduct, administer and manage the 2023 end of year national examinations,” the council said.
The Cabinet, which President Cyril Ramaphosa chairs, also extended its best wishes to the Class of 2023 in its meeting this week. “Cabinet calls on parents and guardians to support learners during this critical period in their academic journey,” it added.
