SKYWORTH’s SUF958P 100” TV, which is South Africa’s largest-ever QLED TV, is now available for purchase at a recommended retail price of R69,999.
The company launched the massive 100-inch TV a few weeks ago, sparking much excitement from the media, tech experts and buyers across the world.
The TV doesn’t just have a larger-than-life panel – it also comprises a range of first-class display technologies including QLED+, 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
“By far the most eye-catching element is its sheer size,” SKYWORTH’s Senior Sales Manager John Goosen said in a statement on Tuesday (19 September). The unit is 2.24m wide by 1.28m high, and its size is enhanced by its Boundless Screen design that uses minimal bezels for increased immersion when watching the QLED+ panel.

As noted above, the recommended SKYWORTH 100-inch TV price in South Africa is R69,999.
The SUF958P 100” TV’s key features are packed in Chameleon Extreme 3.0, a suite of software-powered technologies the brand developed to maximise its impressive display hardware.
They include:
- AI Super Resolution that upscales all your 1080p content – such as sports matches and movies – frame by frame into a higher resolution.
- Contrast Enhancement and Dynamic Noise Reduction that make your picture pop with brighter highlights while ensuring superior quality.
- MEMC, which ensures all your content is smooth. It’s particularly impressive when combined with the panel’s 120Hz refresh rate and support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) – both of which are particularly valuable when gaming.
The TV also has an incredible sound system comprising a total of 60W output across five speakers that deliver booming bass and sharp trebles.
The speakers support Dolby Atmos for additional audio clarity. They are all fitted in the SUF958P’s minimalist, industrial-style display that uses a strong metal backboard, which SKYWORTH says is more durable than the plastics used on many other TVs.
