There are several Capitec USSD code options to use in case you wish to transact on mobile banking in South Africa, including for balance check or to send money.
Mobile banking via USSD is especially convenient for those who do not have the Capitec Bank app. All you need is some airtime, usually around 20 cents for every 20 seconds, during your session. In case you run out of airtime, you can always dial *130*3279# to top up – and this transaction is free of charge.
