Popular online streaming platform Showmax has dropped a teaser for The Real Housewives of Durban reunion for Season 3 – and although it’s just 40 seconds long, it’s intense.
The two-part RHOD Season 3 reunion will premiere on Wednesday, 10 May 2023, with the second part streaming a week later on 17 May. Media personality MaBlerh, aka Mthokozisi Cele, will be the host.

“From Maria’s dramatic exit – a staple in all The Real Housewives franchises the world over – to MaBlerh pressing Mbali on what Mabusi vibes are, and from Nonku bursting into tears when asked about her fiancé to Sane being confronted on the things she said, it’s clear the ladies did not come to play.”
The RHOD Season 3 reunion comes hot on the heels of the season’s finale two weeks ago. As expected, it scaled the charts both on Twitter and on Showmax.
During the finale, the ladies established clear boundaries regarding their friendships. Nonku and Jojo decided firmly to move on with their friendship without the other ladies. At the same time, Annie, Slee, Sorisha, Maria and sometimes Sane forged a friendship separate from them.
Mbali attempted a fence-sitting approach, staying clear of the simmering feud. In the final scene of Season 3, the ladies duly made their apologies. However, the “last supper” confrontation between Nonku and Slee triggered a huge amount of debate online.
If you would like to expand your horizon with the franchise, you can check out The Real Housewives of Abuja and The Real Housewives of Nairobi. Both are also charting on Showmax ahead of the Abuja finale on 5 May 2023 and the Nairobi finale on 11 May 2023.
