The Department of Public Service and Administration has published DPSA Circular 13 of 2023, which advertises the most recent government job vacancies in South Africa as of Friday, 14 April.
Job seekers would be eager to view or download this week’s circular after missing out last week. The DPSA did not publish a circular on 7 April because of the long Easter weekend.

To view the latest government job vacancies as of 14 April 2023, view or download the PDF of DPSA Circular 13 of 2023 here.
The Department has also published separate PDF documents truncated from the full circular on its newsroom page. These shorter documents show vacancies for each national department or provincial administration, making it easier to narrow down your search according to your preference.
If you find a job opening that you wish to apply for, be sure to read both the general directions to candidates on the first page of the circular as well as the specific instructions for the job you’re applying for.
For instance, the general directions state that candidates must submit their applications on form Z83, with a separate sheet or CV attached if necessary. They must also use the correct reference number and submit their application to the department or province making the advertisement, not the DPSA.
Similarly, candidates must not send enquiries about a particular job to the DPSA, but to the entity that advertised the vacancy. Finally, make sure to submit your application on or before the closing date.
At a more specific level, each advertised vacancy has its own reference number, job description, salary indication, location details, qualification and experience requirements, and contact details where enquiries and submissions must be addressed to.
It is therefore important to note these details carefully to maximise the chances of your application being received and considered favourably. Good luck!
