The South African government has just published DPSA Circular 10 of 2023, giving a chance to job seekers to search for new jobs in the public service as of 17 March 2023.
If you missed out on a vacancy you could apply for last week, or if your previous applications have been unsuccessful, this is an opportunity to give it a try once more.
DPSA Circular 10 of 2023 issued on 17 March
To view or download DPSA Circular 10 of 2023 issued on 17 March, visit the DPSA’s website here. The PDF circular is 276 pages long and advertises jobs across various government departments, institutions and provincial administrations.
In case you have a particular department, institution or province in mind, visit the Circular 10 webpage here to view links to separate and shorter documents for each entity that has advertised vacant positions.
This week, some less-known institutions have made job advertisements, including the Centre for Public Service Innovation, the Government Pension Administration Agency and the Government Technical Advisory Centre.
As is always the case, make sure you apply within the specified closing date and use the correct reference number for the vacancy you’re applying for. This will minimise the chances of your application being rejected.
Furthermore, be sure to capture all your details on form Z83, such as your training, qualifications, competencies, experience and knowledge. You’re allowed to attach your CV or additional information document to the form in case it is inadequate.
Finally, address your application or enquiries to the specific department, institution or province that is advertising the job – not the DPSA, which simply compiles all the vacancies in a single document.
Good luck!
