The government has just published DPSA Circular 6 of 2023, which contains the latest public service job vacancies in South Africa as of 17 February 2023.
If you missed out on a vacancy that you could apply for last week, you can try again this week by perusing through more than 250 pages of job advertisements.
Vacancies in DPSA Circular 6 of 2023
To view the vacancies in DPSA Circular 6 of 2023, visit the Department of Public Service and Administration’s documents webpage here.
Alternatively, you can visit the DPSA’s Circular 6 webpage to see which national departments or provincial administrations have made vacancy announcements. This helps you to narrow down your search to your preferred department or province.
As usual, it is important to note the directions for applicants before making your job application. These directions are listed in paragraph 2 or the Circular on the first page.
In addition, look out for instructions or requirements that may be specific to the position you’re applying for. This is usually the case for senior management positions, which list additional requirements such as prior registration to the Senior Management Service (SMS) course at the National School of Government (NSG).
In case you need to register for the SMS pre-entry certificate (also known as Nyukela), visit the NSG website for more details. The course is 120 hours long and costs R400, with an online payment option available on the website.
Hopefully, you can find something that right up your alley this week. If not, there’s always another circular within a week’s time. Good luck!
