If you’re a Capitec Bank customer in South Africa, it often useful to know how to pay Ackermans account using Capitec app for convenience purposes.
Using the app means you do not have to visit an Ackermans store, an ATM or retail outlet to make your monthly account payments, thereby saving you loads of time and transport money.
If you haven’t downloaded the Capitec app yet, you can do so on the App Store if you have an Apple device (such as an iPhone), Google Play Store if you have an Android device and AppGallery for Huawei smartphones. Contact the bank to activate the app on your phone.
How to pay Ackermans account using Capitec app
To pay Ackermans account using Capitec app, start by opening the app on your smartphone and tapping “Transact” followed by “Payments.” You will then need to log in to your banking profile on the app by entering your secret PIN.
The next step is to tap “Add Beneficiary” at the bottom of the screen followed by “Capitec-registered.” You will then see a list of beneficiaries that Capitec Bank has pre-loaded on its system.
Scroll the list and look for “Tenacity Financial Services” or simply type it in the search box at the top of the app’s screen. Tap on the name once you find it and then tap “Next.” The app will now ask you to enter your payment details, including the amount and reference number (which is your 16-digit store card number).
It is particularly important to enter the correct reference number. Otherwise, your payment will not reflect against your Ackermans account. As a result, Ackermans may assume that you haven’t paid, leading to further challenges.
Once you have confirmed that the details you entered are correct, tap “Pay.” Enter your secret PIN to confirm the payment. And that’s it – you have completed your Ackermans account payment using Capitec app.
