It’s that time of the week again when you can view the latest government job vacancies as published in DPSA Circular 44 of 2022 dated 18 November.
As is the case every end of the working week, the Department of Public Service and Administration released the circular on Friday, giving job seekers in South Africa another chance to find their ideal public service job.
DPSA Circular 44 of 2022
You can view or download DPSA Circular 44 of 2022 in PDF on the Department’s website here. At a massive 424 pages, it’s one of the biggest circulars this year.
This means that the government’s hiring activity has picked up dramatically in recent weeks – a positive sign for millions of job hunters across the country. This week, 16 national departments and seven provincial administrations have advertised vacancies. Among the provinces, only Limpopo and Mpumalanga are missing out.
If you do not wish to go through the entire document, you can search jobs in your preferred department or provincial administration via the DPSA’s Circular 44 webpage.
This webpage has listed links to each department or province. All you need to do is click on your preferred department’s link to view the vacant positions advertised by that department.
“It must be ensured that employees declared in excess are informed of the advertised vacancies. Potential candidates from the excess group must be assisted in applying timeously for vacancies and attending, where applicable, interviews,” the DPSA said in its directions to departments and provinces.
Be sure to use form Z83 in your job application, which you must submit using the correct reference number, within the specified deadline and to the department or province making the advertisement.
Additionally, in case you have inquiries about a particular position, contact the department making that advertisement – not the DPSA. All the best in your job search!
