Mega retailer Pick n Pay has launched early Black Friday 2022 specials, offering up to 65% discounts on a host of products, including groceries, household goods and appliances.
However, the early deals are only available between Thursday, 17 November and Sunday, 20 November 2022. Customers can get them online, in-store or via the Pick n Pay asap! app.
Pick n Pay early Black Friday specials
You can view the 2022 Pick n Pay early Black Friday specials on their dedicated webpage, where you can narrow your search to the various categories such as groceries, baby & toiletries, household & cleaning, and home & outdoor.
The website usually shows deals offered in stores close to your location, so be sure to grant permission for the website to use your device’s location.

Pick n Pay has joined Checkers in offering early Black Friday deals. Both retailers will still offer specials on the actual Black Friday date (25 November).
Smart Price
Pick n Pay said most of its early deals will be marked as “Smart Price,” which means customers will need to swipe their Smart Shopper cards to take advantage of them. Swiping your card also earns you cash back for future spending.
There will be free delivery for online orders above R500. In selected areas, deliveries will be same day if you place your order before 14h00. In most areas, you will most likely get your order the following day.
“Through Pick n Pay’s online shop, customers can shop for unlimited Black Friday grocery deals and have a team deliver their order to their front door or straight into their kitchen. Delivery slots have been increased significantly for expedient delivery times,” the retailer said.
Furthermore, Black Friday shoppers at Pick n Pay Home using their Smart Shopper cards will get 10% back on their orders to spend on groceries at Pick n Pay.
The early deals are also available at Pick n Pay Clothing, which will additionally have a one-day-only online Black Friday flash deals promotion.
