Job seekers in South Africa can now view the latest government vacancies as published in DPSA Circular 43 of 2022 dated 11 November.
The Department of Public Service and Administration published the circular on Friday, as is the norm every week except during the festive season in December.
DPSA Circular 43 of 2022
To peruse or download DPSA Circular 43 of 2022 in PDF, visit the Department’s website here. A whopping 23 government departments and seven provincial administrations have advertised vacant job positions.
The circular is quite bulky, running into 204 pages. However, you can search jobs in a specific department or provincial administration of your choice on the DPSA’s Circular 43 newsroom page.
On that page, you will find links to each entity, making it easier to search for a vacancy that is better aligned to your skills or qualifications – or one that is closer to your current location.
“Candidates must be assessed and selected in accordance with the relevant measures that apply to employment in the Public Service,” the Circular states. Measures include taking the senior management service (SMS) pre-entry course for the applicable positions.
As usual, applicants must fill form Z83 when they make their applications. It enables you to outline your qualifications, skills and experience. If the space on the form is not enough, you may add a separate sheet or your curriculum vitae (CV).
Remember to submit your job application to the department or province making the advertisement, not to the DPSA. Similarly, contact the same entity if you have inquiries about the position.
Furthermore, make sure you use the correct reference number for the particular vacancy you’re applying for. Finally, submit your application before the deadline. All the best!
