The 28th edition of the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) were held over the weekend at the Sun City resort in the North West province and naturally, fans want to get the full SAMA awards 2022 winners list.
Nandi Madida, Lawrence Maleka, Robot Noii and Mpho Popps Modikoane hosted the glamourous event, which was aired live on SABC 1 and YouTube channels.
Viewers were treated to exciting live performances by various artists, including Makhadzi, Master KG, Khuli Chana and Mobi Dixon.
A notable winner was Zakes Bantwini, who bagged his first ever SAMA after 16 years in the music industry. He won Best Collaboration alongside Kasango for their smash hit Osama, which also won the Highest Airplay Award.
DJ Black Coffee’s phenomenal run continues as he won the International Achievement Award following his Grammy win earlier this year.
Joe Nina, Jimmy Dludlu and McCoy Mrubata also won Lifetime Achievement Awards, while veteran singer Yvonne Chaka Chaka clinched the Chairman’s Award.
