FNB’s eBucks members can now access over 400 free Udemy courses, the banking group announced on Monday (4 April).
Udemy is a popular online learning platform that offers more than 185,000 courses. It had over 65,000 instructors, 49 million learners and 680 million enrolments at the time of publishing, according to its website.
How to access Free Udemy courses on FNB
“eBucks have partnered with Udemy to curate a library of over 400 online learning and self-development courses. Categories include business, design, finance, IT, marketing, personal development, teaching and more,” the banking group said.
eBucks members can access six free courses per year for an activation fee of R50 per course. There is no course fee once this activation fee is paid.
This new feature is part of several “lifestyle solutions” FNB announced on Monday. According to CEO Jacques Celliers, the solutions demonstrate the bank’s “commitment to delivering contextual innovations to our customers via our trusted digital platform.”
“In keeping with our status of providing customers with the best value-added services in financial services, we are once again shifting into high gear in our efforts to offer customers exponential help,” he added.
Other solutions
Starbucks
FNB customers can enjoy free coffee at Starbucks to a value of R36 per drink every week. You would need to spend at least five times per week using FNB Pay or Virtual Card to qualify.
“The free benefit coupon is available on a weekly basis by visiting eBucks on the FNB App. Scan the benefit coupon at the till when visiting any Starbucks store nationwide,” the bank explained.
GuardMe
The bank’s customers can access 250 armed response/emergency services across South Africa starting from R19.90 per person per month (first three months free). You can also register other users on your FNB app profile whether they bank with FNB or not.
FNB added, “When you need help fast, you can activate a panic button on the FNB or RMB PB App without signing in. 2 free tests per user profile so that you can check the response times 3 months free – thereafter R35 per month.”
eBucks games
eBucks games gives customers access to ad-free games for their young ones for zero monthly subscription fees.
FNB Connect Deals
For the next 24 months, customers will have access to “Hot Device Deals,” which enable them to buy smartphones, laptops and iPads at cheaper prices.
SLOW Lounge
FNB has completed its purchase of SLOW Lounge Business. Customers can get flight discounts and additional SLOW Lounge visits when they book their flights via the FNB or RMB Private Bank App.
