As government prepares for the festive season this December, the Department of Public Service and Administration has published the latest DPSA vacancies 2021 in Circular 44.

This is the last circular for the year, with the next circular expected in mid-January once the festive season is over.

You can view or download a PDF version of Circular 44 which contains the latest DPSA vacancies 2021 for December here.

The document is 166 pages long and contains job vacancies in the government’s national departments as well as provincial administrations across South Africa.

DPSA advised job applicants to direct any queries they may have to the particular department that has made the job advertisement in question, not to the DPSA.

“Applicants must indicate the reference number of the vacancy in their applications. It must be ensured that applications reach the relevant advertising departments on or before the applicable closing dates,” the Department added.

DPSA has also published separate PDF documents containing vacancies in the respective national departments and provincial administrations.

Although the holidays are set to begin, it is worthwhile to know the Department’s plans for 2022, including when it will publish the January circular.

According to a letter by DPSA Director-General Yoliswa Makhasi earlier this year, the first DPSA circular for 2022 will be issued on 14 January.

This means that departments and provincial administrations must have submitted their advertisements to DPSA on or before 10 December 2021, Makhasi added.

Until January 2022, happy holidays and good luck in your job search!
