The much-anticipated list of Miss South Africa 2021 top 10 finalists was finally announced via an online reveal on Tuesday, 3 August.
The contestants, along with South Africans at large, will now embark on the final stretch of the pageant which will culminate on Saturday, 16 October 2021.
On this date, one of the finalists will be crowned Miss South Africa 2021. The event will be held at the Grand West Arena in Cape Town and broadcast live on M-Net (DStv channel 101) and Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) at 17h00, as well as live-streamed on the My DStv App and misssa.live.

The top 10 finalists of Miss SA 2021 pageant are the following:
- Bianca Bezuidenhout.
- Catherine Groenewald.
- Cheneil Hartzenberg.
- Jeanni Mulder.
- Kaylan Matthews.
- Kgothatso Dithebe.
- Lalela Mswane.
- Moratwe Masima.
- Tiffany Francis.
- Zimi Mabunzi.
According to the official announcement, four of the finalists come from Gauteng, three from Western Cape, two from Eastern Cape and one from KwaZulu-Natal.
“They are an impressive group and include a medical doctor working on the COVID-19 frontline, a commercial pilot, owners of a model agency, swimwear company and an online bakery, and legal graduates and students,” Miss South Africa said.
Bianca Bezuidenhout (22)
Bezuidenhout hails from Strand in Cape Town. She holds a BA in marketing communications and is finalising her honours degree in media studies. Besides being a student, she owns a swimwear company called She Succeeds and is a dance instructor.
Catherine Groenewald (23)
Groenewald comes from Constantia in Cape Town and is completing her BCom visual communications degree. She is also a barre fitness instructor, a model with Topco Models and a business owner (Delish Bakery).
Cheneil Hartzenberg (24)
Coming out of Meredale in Johannesburg, the commercial pilot and senior flight instructor is currently pursuing her airline transport pilot licence. Hartzenberg also holds a digital marketing course from University of Cape Town online.
Jeanni Mulder (24)
The Sea Point, Cape Town native is a full-time model who is into all things artsy. She credits her mother for moulding her into a compassionate, strong-willed and genuine person.
Kaylan Matthews (25)
Mathews, who hails from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape, is finalising her Bachelors in Human Movement Science at the Nelson Mandela University. She is a big believer in motivating others to accept themselves, love their bodies and exercise for a healthier lifestyle.
Kgothatso Dithebe (26)
Hailing from Centurion in Pretoria, Dithebe is currently studying towards an LLB while running her own construction and supplies company. She loves the gym, new recipes and netball. She is also a property owner.
Lalela Mswane (24)
The KwaSokhulu, Richards Bay native is a model and dancer with a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Pretoria. She is keen on meeting Employment and Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi to discuss South Africa’s unemployment crisis.
Moratwe Masima (25)
Masima hails from Atholl in Sandton. A qualified medical doctor, she is currently doing her first year of internship at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital. Her goal is to become a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
Tiffany Francis (22)
Emerging out of Mulbarton in Johannesburg, Francis is the proud owner of her own modelling agency – Tiffany K Models. She juggles this with being a professional model and fashion design student.
Zimi Mabunzi (26)
Mabunzi comes from eQonce (formerly King Williams Town) in the Eastern Cape and is completing her BCom Law degree at Nelson Mandela University. She won the public vote.
