South Africa’s very own Percy Tau will play in the prestigious UEFA Champions League this season.
The Bafana Bafana star helped his Belgian side Club Brugge qualify for the elite competition on Wednesday.
He set up the winning goal as Club Brugge beat LASK 2-1 (3-1 aggregate win) to secure a spot in the League.
Tau took to Twitter on Thursday morning to celebrate his milestone achievement.
He posted a picture of himself with the caption, “Dreams That You Dare To Dream Really Do Come True.”
The talented forward will know which opponents his club will face when the Champions League draw is held later on Thursday.
Club Brugge are in Pot 3 of the group stage draw along with Inter Milan, Valencia, and Lyon.
Tau joins 13 other South African players who have appeared in the UEFA Champions League.
Other famous names include Benni McCarthy, Quinton Fortune, Tsepo Masilela, Thulani Serero, and Steven Pienaar.
