Rapper Emtee has confirmed that he has officially parted ways with his record label Ambitiouz Entertainment.
In a tweet on Wednesday afternoon, the Abantu hitmaker said he didn’t take this decision “lightly and without due consideration.”
Following a long and in-depth reflection on my career as an artist, where I am now and where I see myself in the next few years, I have made a decision that the time has come for me to now part ways with Ambitiouz Entertainment.

He decided to end months-long speculation about the matter “for the sake of my family, friends, and my supporters worldwide.”
Emtee said the idea of leaving the label had taken root a while back, but he sought legal advice first to ensure a smooth and amicable transition.
He thanked his friends, family and supporters for their continued loyalty and asked them to keep supporting him.
The talented rapper dropped a hint on Instagram about a week ago with a snap of himself and the caption, “I can smell freedom.”
In an interview with TshisaLIVE in June, Emtee also discussed his impending departure from the label.
I still wanna make music. I have been through the most and I am unbreakable. I am not angry or mad. I will get through this.

Ambitiouz Entertainment hasn’t commented on his departure yet.
However, Emtee’s fans supported his move and wished him all the best in his career.
